Foot Reflexology $45

Ear Reflexology $35

Before modern medicine and state of the art hospitals, healing was often sought through methods that are unconventional by today's standards. One of those methods was ear and foot reflexology, or zone therapy. While not officially named as such until the late 1800's and early 1900's, foot reflexology has been around for thousands of years. In the quest for alternative healing methods, many are turning to foot reflexology once again to secure the health and wellbeing that the ancients experienced through its practice.

Foot bathers like seeing and feeling the immediate results of their detoxification. The most popular type of the detox foot bath is the ionic foot bath. It's a simple system that uses electricity to stimulate ionic cleansing.

Pregnancy massage, also known as pre-natal massage, promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mothers. Pregnancy massage is especially benefical in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.  Pregnancy massage provides relaxation by relieving stress on joints. It eases neck and back pain, helps you to keep good posture and relaxes and provides flexibility to birthing muscles. Pregnancy massage aids the circulatory and lymphatic systems, which keeps blood flowing to both the mother and the baby. It stimulates different glands in the body, which help to stabilize hormone levels, and relieves nervous tension throughout the body. And the nurturing touch during pregnancy massage promotes relaxation and provides emotional support. Post-Partum Massage  is also good after giving birth. It can help restore a mother's body to its pre-pregnancy condition. It helps to realign the body weight, and tones the over-stretched skin over the belly. As with all massage, it relieves muscle tension and stress from mothering duties!

Sports Massage $80

Sports massage was designed for athletes, but is useful for anyone with chronic pain, injury or range-of-motion issues. Sports massage was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons. The therapists oncentrates on a specific problem area. Sports massage is a type of Swedish Massage that stimulates circulation of blood and lymph fluids. Some sports massage movements use trigger point therapy to break down adhesions (knots in the muscles) and increase range of motion. Sport massage can be given during training to allow the athelete to train harder and with less injury. It is also aimed at alleviating pain due to injury and returning the body to health. A sports massage is a good choice if you have a specific problem -- The therapist focuses in on the problem area -- a frozen shoulder or pulled hamstring, for instance -- rather than giving you a thorough full-body massage.

Thai Massage $80

Thai Massage, was developed by Buddhist monks in Thailand as a healing modality 2,500 years ago. It uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the bodys to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balance the bodys systems. It is both deeply relaxing and energizing. Thai massage takes place on a futon mat on the floor, and you wear loose fitting clothing.  The therapist uses gentle compression and stretching techniques to open up your body, beginning with your legs. Some people say Thai massage is a little like doing yoga without any effort, because the therapist will push your body into various positions without any work on your part.

Magnet Therapy  $50

Magnet therapy benefits individuals with pain issues in the body, both isolated and chronic.  With proper application, magnet therapy is thought to be between 80 to 90 percent effective.  Magnet therapy operates on the knowledge that the human body is controlled by magnet fields and charged by ions, which benefits from its balance.  When an area of the body is injured, positive ions flood the area causing pain and swelling.  Magnet therapy causes the positive ions to flee the area allowing the body to return to a normal state.  This allows an incease in circulation and blood flow to an injured area, thus promoting the benefits of natural healing.  Benefits of magnet therapy can be felt within minutes in some cases. In others, multiple treatments may be required dependind on the severity and location of the injury.

Reiki $45

Reiki is a very gentle, non-invasive form of "energy work." The development of Reiki is attributed to a Japanese Buddhist named Mikai Usui (1865-1926). Reiki is based on the idea that there is life force energy that can be encouraged to flow. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words. Rei means "God's Wisdom " and Ki (known as "Chi" is Chinese) is "life force energy." You begin by laying down, fully clothed, with relaxing music in the background. The Reiki practitioner will gently rest their hands on you in a series of positions, from the crown of the head to the feet. The Reiki practitioner holds the position for several minutes, then moves to the next position. A good Reiki session should be deeply relaxing and leave you feeling calmer and more balanced.

Chi Machine

The Chi machine is a small motorized machine that sits on the floor. To use the machine, lie on the floor, aligning your body with the arrows on the machine. Place your feet in the cradle. Your arms can be placed in one of three positions: stretched out straight above your head, folded under your head or placed at your side. The machine oscillates from left to right, about 140 times per minute. The movement of the machine causes your body to move in a figure-eight movement. After the machine stops, remain in position for two to three minutes before getting up.
